I’m Nick — a software engineer in Orem, UT. I graduated in 2025 and, within months, became the engineer a production AI company leans on: the person who owns the agent backend, sets the standard for how the team builds with AI, and keeps a high-volume pipeline correct.

My edge is making AI work in production— agents, retrieval, evals, and the reliable backends underneath — but I’m full-stack by instinct and pick up whatever layer the work needs. I learn quickly, ship, and care about correctness and craft in equal measure.

    • Built and own the backend powering a real-time text + voice AI agent that validates insurance-claim estimates.
    • Set the team's standard for agentic engineering — custom skills, hooks, and steering files for Cursor, Claude Code, and Kiro.
    • Trusted with reliability and data integrity across an event-driven pipeline handling ~100k events/day.
    • Last engineer standing besides the founder through two rounds of contraction; took on full-stack ownership.

    • Designed, built, and shipped a full-stack web app end to end with Next.js, TypeScript, and Supabase.
    • Integrated AMP for Email for interactive in-inbox experiences.
    • Architected a flexible relational schema to absorb evolving product data without painful migrations.

    • Built features for an internal low-code Blazor builder (C#, Windows Forms, SQL Server) used by sales and CS teams.
    • Owned a shared NuGet component library giving every exported app a consistent UI.
